The JTM 60 has a very sturdy construction as a 1 x 12 inch combo amp. There is an external speaker jack for those bigger venues where a 4 x 12 box can be driven Overall, I think the JTM-60 is a flexible high quality amp perfect for bluesy rock and modern rock as well.

This is a JTM60 watt all tube 1-12" combo. It's 12 years old and has 4 12AX7 preamp tubes and 2 EL34's in the power stage. This model has had it's share of issues but after I retubed the whole thing it has an AMAZING tone. I got it from the original owner in NYC over the weekend.

I've had a JTM-60 for nine years and hundreds of gigs. It works fine, but IMO Mullards or JJs improve the tone considerably. I don't play mine much anymore, as I have a Cornell Plexi 45/50. If I get around to it, I'll probably get rid of the Marshall. They sound fine for a low dollar amp. Oct 21, 2004.
